Rheumatology
The rheumatology department manages diseases of the joints, bones, muscles and tendons. Our rheumatologists provide diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory and degenerative rheumatic diseases as well as systemic conditions.
Inflammatory rheumatic diseases
Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus benefit from specialized care with access to conventional disease-modifying treatments and biologic therapies.
Degenerative conditions
Osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and tendinopathies are treated with approaches combining medication, ultrasound-guided infiltrations and functional rehabilitation.
Systemic diseases
Connective tissue diseases, vasculitis and other systemic autoimmune diseases are managed as part of a multidisciplinary consultation involving rheumatology, internal medicine and other relevant specialties.
