Endocrinology
The endocrinology department manages diseases of the endocrine glands and metabolism. Our endocrinologists diagnose and treat diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and metabolic diseases.
Diabetes and metabolic diseases
The management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes relies on a comprehensive approach combining medication, therapeutic education, nutritional follow-up and adapted physical activity. New technologies (insulin pumps, continuous glucose sensors) are offered to eligible patients.
Thyroid disorders
Hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules and thyroid cancers are investigated by ultrasound, scintigraphy and fine-needle aspiration. Care is provided in collaboration with endocrine surgery and nuclear medicine.
Adrenal and pituitary disorders
Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease, acromegaly, pituitary adenomas and pheochromocytomas undergo a complete hormonal work-up and specialized imaging. Multidisciplinary care combines endocrinology, neurosurgery and oncology as needed.
