The internal medicine department manages complex, multisystem conditions that are difficult to classify. Our internists coordinate the overall care of patients with rare diseases or several associated chronic conditions.
Systemic and autoimmune diseases
Lupus, sarcoidosis, vasculitis, amyloidosis and other systemic diseases are managed by specialized internists, in close coordination with the relevant organ specialties.
Multidisciplinary coordination
Internal medicine plays a central coordinating role in the care of patients with multiple conditions. Multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT) help develop treatment strategies tailored to each situation.
Rare diseases and difficult diagnoses
The department serves as a referral point for difficult diagnoses and rare diseases. In collaboration with national reference centers, our internists ensure access to innovative therapies for the most complex patients.
