Asthma and COPD
The management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) relies on a complete respiratory function assessment, patient therapeutic education and adjustment of inhaled treatment according to the latest recommendations.
Infections and pneumopathies
Community-acquired pneumonia, pleurisy and severe respiratory infections are managed as inpatients with appropriate antibiotic therapy. Bronchoscopy allows etiological diagnosis and drainage of collections.
Sleep-related breathing disorders
Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is investigated by overnight ventilatory polygraphy. Initiation of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy is accompanied by dedicated follow-up and education.
